Grocery Haul #3
I finally made it to a Pak n’ Save for one of my grocery trips. I’ve heard that this chain had the lowest prices, so I was eager to try it out. The prices are generally less expensive than the other big chains, and Pak n’ Save carries the exact same brands and products. That is a serious plus! However, I found that I had to double check all of the date on things as items with best by dates were all mixed together and a bag of spinach that was good for one day was right next to a bag of spinach that showed a best by date four days later. Also, the shopping experience wasn’t as nice. It was much more utilitarian: lots of open crates of goods, and a dark concrete floor with towering shelves down the rows.
