Grocery Haul #11
The most reliable sign that the seasons are changing is what is available in the supermarkets. I know that spring is nearly here because there are strawberries! Even better, the strawberries don’t cost $10 a box. I thought the changing of the seasons merited another grocery haul so you can see what I’m able to get now that things like bell peppers (aka capsicums) and strawberries are back on the shelves for reasonable prices.

All of these prices are in New Zealand dollars. My total bill was NZ$207.06, or about US$134.59. This shopping trip was heavy on the sodas. My husband is the only one who drinks them, and even he drinks them rarely, but every once it awhile he gets on a kick and will go through a lot in a short period of time. Apparently we’re in one of those phases. I should note that there are “regular” sodas in the grocery store. An 8 pack of 330 ml cans of Sprite goes for NZ$11.99, for example.
