The POTUS is coming to my 'hood for a fundraiser, and to prepare, they are power-washing the streets. Two comments on this: 1) This isn't going to fix the potholes, construction damage, and general disrepair of the (extremely) bumpy streets and 2) Why is the power-washer making my baby monitor make weird noises?
(Please don't read any politics into this - just the absurdity of power-washing incredibly banged-up streets.)
