Shades of Black and Grey

I’ve noticed that regular ol’ skinny jeans are on the way out - with the exception of black jeans. I’m so excited to try the new silhouettes that are cropping up (see what I did there - a clothing pun since cropped pants are VERY in right now… I digress.) This is a run-around-with-the-kids outfit that I’ve already worn several times. I look put together thanks to the easy color palette, but fun and cool thanks to my new Golden Goose sneakers. I’ve worn my white ones so much that I decided to go for a black pair as well.

New:

Grey and White Striped Mock Turtleneck - Apparently the turtleneck is coming into fashion again, and I like how this top will help transition from the warm summer months into fall. I can’t find the exact shirt available in New Zealand (I picked it up in the US) but here’s a similar shirt from ASOS or a merino version from Kapeka.

Golden Goose Superstars - I feel like my GGDB sneaker addiction could become real. I know some people find these uncomfortable, but I think this particularly style may be my favorite every day shoe ever. One of the pluses to the change in online shopping that happened last December is that this sort of purchase is no longer subject to customs and duties, like my last pair. Net-a-Porter is happy to deliver :)
