B&T Layers
When I was a kid, I adamantly refused to mix brown and black. That was an absolutely forbidden combination. I am just starting to break out of some of my self-imposed clothing rules, and I’ve got to admit, its kind of fun.
New:
Black Embroidered T-Shirt - This is about as graphic-tee-y as I get. I love simplicity of the look and that the words are embroidered, not printed. This Paige shirt was a find back in the US, so I’ve linked something similar from the Iconic here.
Camel Blazer - Last fall I picked up this camel colored blazer from Zara. I had no idea how much I would end up wearing something this color, so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I've surprised myself with how often I grab this as an extra layer. It won’t last forever, and when it dies, I’ll be sure to look for a higher quality version. I’ve linked a similar Zara piece here.
High Waisted Black Jeans - My old pair of black jeans finally lost its true black color after a few too many washes. I went in search of a new pair with a higher waist, and found Nobody Denim’s siren skinny ankle jean, a brand made in Melbourne.
Valentino Rockstud Shoulder Bag - This was my “end of year teacher present” to myself after the first lockdown. Unnecessary? Yes. Lots of fun to have? Also yes.
Refresh:
Blondo Boots - I’m still loving these waterproof boots, especially during the rainy spring.
Gold Coin Necklace: A similar style from The Iconic is linked
Black & Tortoise Sunglasses: These beauties are Balmain and sold out, but I’ve linked a similar Tom Ford pair that can be purchased in New Zealand!
